Bali Flora

Flora
As gifted a fertile soils, abundant of water sources, friendly warm and cool weather, Bali lands allow grew any of plants. From rice produces at a stunning paddy terrace to any plant and range of colorful flowers made for daily rituals such as: Banyan Tree, Coconut, Bananas, Plumeria, Lotus, Hibiscus, Cempaka and others owned Bali characteristic defines. The Balinese are strongly believe that flora & fauna used in their rituals or offerings to God will be reincarnated in a better life or even in better form of lives. This value reflects the harmony between the Balinese and other creatures, nature and God. This is also encourages Balinese keep Bali as a paradise haven on earth.

Bali Fauna

Bali Birds
The rice field are the favorite home for birds. Herons are arrive in the planting season, while Java Sparrow, Parrot Finch and Java Munia turn up when the grains appears. Other birds nested along the river bank, valley or in the forest like: Kepondang (Oriole birds), Kipasan (Fan-tails) and Kutilang. One of particularly endangered birds species that still in habitat is Bali Starling, which less than hundred now survive in their natural habitat in Taman National Bali Barat (National Park of West Bali).
Fauna
Bali local fauna mostly consisted of bred animals or livestock likes: cows, pigs, chickens, ducks, and goats, while it`s flora generally include of tropical flora species.
Wild carnivorous once has roamed in the Bali`s forest, however, sadly Bali`s last tiger was shoot down in 1937. Other carnivorous that have survived are panthers and leopards, though they are seriously endangered. Large herbivorous mammals found here are wild buffaloes, deer and uniquely tamed wild ox called "Banteng". This kind of ox can be found only in the National Park of West Bali. Other most popular wild animals that can be found in the many of rain forest-last in Bali is Balinese monkeys. Their natural habitat could be seen in Sangeh, Alas Kedaton, Pancasari, Ubud rain forest, and near Uluwatu temple.
